Unveiling Tonight - Seattle Artist Creates Portrait in Tribute to PNB Retiring Directors Kent Stowell and Francia Russell

A portrait created by Seattle artist Michele Rushworth in tribute to Pacific Northwest Ballet retiring artistic directors Kent Stowell and Francia Russell will be unveiled at this evening's opening night performance at McCaw Hall.

Rushworth said that her aim was " to capture the elegance and movement of dance, and to convey the warmth and charm of the personalities of these two exceptional people. It has been a true pleasure working with Kent and Francia and I've enjoyed seeing their personalities come to life in my studio as the painting developed."
