Eddy Greenwood was born in the United Kingdom in 1956.
After completing a Foundation course, he studied at Canterbury College of Art, where he graduated with a BA Hons degree in Graphic Design & History of Art.
Eddy has a passion for figurative fine art and portraiture. As a portrait artist he captures his subject in either oil paint or charcoal. Recently he has continued his studies at Sarum Studio, an independent atelier of fine art, committed to the theory and practice of drawing and painting from life using the Sight - Size method. Eddy now lives in The Netherlands near the historic city of Leiden.
