Pamela Dennis Hall began her formal art education in high school with weekend classes at the Cleveland Institute of Art. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Art Education at Ohio State University. Her interest in portraiture began in college when she studied figure drawing with Sidney Chafitz. She has since studied with Daniel Greene, Sherrie McGraw, Robert Johnson and Carolyn Anderson. She attended John Howard Sanden's Master Class at the Portrait Institute.

Pamela's dog portraits have won awards at the Art Show at the Dog Show in Wichita, Kansas. The Franklin Mint selected one of her paintings of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for the plate, "The Royal Cavalier".

She is a member of the American Society of Portrait Artists and the portrait Society of America.

Her most recent paintings are for the clients in Connecticut, Virginia, California, Colorado, Texas, Illinois, and Pennsylvania.

Pamela's studio is in Fredericksburg, Texas, where she is helped by her five dogs: Lincoln, a German Shepherd, Meggie and Penny, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and Lucky and Lulu, the Pugs.

Pamela has a guesthouse for the convenience of clients who travel to Fredericksburg for sittings.
