Patricia Haskins McWilliams is a nationally-known portrait artist whose professional painting career spans almost thirty years. She has won numerous awards including The National Portrait Competition both in New York and Atlanta. A graduate of the University of North Alabama, she studied art and earned a BS degree in Elementary Education. Having studied under renowned portrait artist John Howard Sanden her work reflects his influence. She is a member of The Portrait Society of America and The Portrait Institute of New York. Ms McWilliams paints her subjects in oil with a style of impressionistic realism that lends itself to a natural portrayal of personality as well as likeness.
In addition to private collections in Europe, her paintings hang in private and public collections throughout the United States.

The cost for painting animals or specific backgrounds begins at $1,000 and will be estimated depending on the size of the portrait and its complexity. Children are considered to be age 17 or younger.
