Carol Boynton has been painting and drawing from a young age. She studied at the Art Students’ League of New York, Silvermine College of Art and Lyme Academy of Fine Arts.
She is a classically trained oil portraitist and has been under the tutelage of some of the world’s leading portrait artists including Nelson Shanks, Everett Raymond Kinstler, and Daniel Greene.
In addition to portraits by commission, Carol also paints landscapes, seascapes, and still lifes in oil. Her work is representational and may be found in private collections in New York City, Washington D.C., San Francisco, France, and Japan, as well as around New England.

Carol Boynton lives on the shoreline in Madison, Ct with her husband Ted.
